Bernies Restaurant is operated by a mother / daughter team. Bernie has accumulated 40 years of her hospitality "know how" into the business that carries her name. Monda, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY draws on her 25 years of hands on training in the restaurant industry to maintain the standards of excellence that go hand in hand with her mothers vision. Combined together they consider it their mission to take care of every detail so you can relax and enjoy the day.
Our grounds are the perfect escape from your weekly grind, so come spend the weekend with us. Relax on our spacious back porch overlooking the scenic Sautee Nacoochee Valley, or sample some wine on our front patio. We are a pet friendly establishment and welcome your furry friend, however a small pet fee applies.
Centrally located on Hwy. 17 only 5 miles from Helen, Bernies Restaurant is a wonderful spot to have an excellent meal and then go see the incredible shops and wine tasting offered in the little "town" of Sautee.
